Evolving out of George Bean and The Runners, this group was managed by
Robert Stigwood. They also acted as a backing group for other artists. “Dirty
Old Town” was a Dubliners track. Bean died in the early seventies,
whilst drummer Rod Coombes went on to
Juicy Lucy,
RoRo,
Stealers Wheel and
The Strawbs.
Compilation appearances include: “Devil Comin'” and “Old Fashioned
Prayer Meeting” on “Sixties Years, Vol. 5” (CD).
