Strings (courtesy of Henry Lowther), dissonant flutes, guitars and a
confusing array of mostly blues-based styles are the ingredients on this one-off
album for Spark. It has a bit of a gloomy mood. Tribal rhythms are used
throughout the album, to good effect especially on ‘Confusion’, the best
cut. Other above-average tracks include the blues-based "Baby Please Don't Go"
and "St. Louis Blues", both slow and with nice vocals.
The LP did come in a wonderfully psychedelic cover. Founder and key member Alan
Feldman went on to start FBI.
