You have probably the best and most comprehensive set of links on your site I have ever seen. Well done! Can I swap you that complement for some info? (LOL) I am trying to get hold of a copy of Love on my Mind by Brian Parrish as featured on your site. Got any ideas? I have US$ for anyone that can get me a quality CD copy. Any leads really would be gratefully appreciated.

Comments about the web site: Just discovered your excellent website whilst searching for Slack Alice.
The band Slack Alice who performed at the Skegness Rock & Blues Festival were the original 1973 Northern based Slack Alice, fronted by the amazing singer Cliff Stocker - the 2002 band also features bass player Malc Crossley from the original band. The other band members have joined the band more recently, though Alan Parkinson another member of the original 1973 line up rejoined the reformed band for a while, but has been replaced by Colin Redmond, Chris Preston lines up on guitar, Paul Lucker on keyboards, Foxy (bass on some songs)and until recently Gary Jones on drums, though he has recently been replaced.
Cliff Stocker and Malc Crossley appear on a 70's LP 'Billy Plus Nine' by Stocker, Greenwood & Friends. In recent years the new band have released 2 new albums, 'Broken Dreams' featuring songs which would have been released on a 70's album which wasn't pressed and 'Just The Blues' - the band are currently working on their next album 'Somewhere Between ... Nashville & Chicago' they also appear at the Skegness Rock and Blues Festival in 2002 and in Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire (6 Apr)
The Slack Alice photos displayed on your website come from the London based band who as far as we know are not currently playing as Slack Alice.

Comments about the web site: goeie website!
gezongen. ik weet dat het nummer een hit is geweest;
vaker je site bezoeken;
ik ben pas sinds een jaar of twee geinteresseerd
in deze muziek dus ik heb nog heel wat te
luisteren en te lezen.
alvast bedankt en groeten,

Comments about the web site: What about 'Clouds'(formerly 1-2-3)? Only recently, in Mojo magazine, Bowie called Billy Ritchie (the keyboard player) 'a genius'. According to Q magazine, Ritchie was the model for Emerson and Wakeman, 'but with half the insufferable grandeur' - that's the trouble with Rock history, it suffers from the same flaw as mainstream - it just regurgitates and doesn't keep up! Read Ed Ward in 'The History of Rock' "Clouds, a band practically invisible to the naked eye, yet of such importance that without their influence, 70's rock could not have happened as it did". He goes on to say that Clouds(actually as 1-2-3) were the blueprint for Yes, King Crimson, The Nice/ELP, Genesis, Family, to name but a few....
Check it out!

Comments about the web site: Hi Alex. My name is Kit Thompson. I am Pete Thompson's son (former drummer with Silverhead 1970 - 1973). I just wondered if you can put me in contact with any of the other member's of the band or any related websites or email addresses that might help me contact the guys. Pete is still playing and recently recorded with artists such as Robert Plant and more recently Robin Trower. He lives and teaches drums in Southend, Essex (England). I follow in his footsteps playing both drums and lead guitar in a few bands locally. I'd be really pleased to hear from you or anyone who might be able to help me get in contact with the other guys from Silverhead. I know dad would be really pleased to hear from any of them. Who knows.. maybe a reunion 30 years on could even be in order! Love the site - nice to see 70's music kept alive with such an informative website. Regards, Kit Thompson.
