Comments about the web site: No two people have the exact same musical tastes, but I have to admit from reviewing your list, we are pretty close. I have found myself going back to your site for links on several bands, so I finally just added it to my list of favorites. Keep up the good work! I do have some of your 'wants' but I can't part w/ my old vinyl. However, should you need taped copies, let me know..

Comments about the web site: Now that is one *mighty* list of links!!! Only suggestion would be to give it its own page or pages so that it would load a little faster and perhaps some #marks to make it more navigable. Good effort regardless or minor quibbles! (How often do you need to check to see the links are valid ? I think there are some helper sites that will do a regular check for you!!)

Comments about the web site: I was happy to find the info on Epitaph. I was looking at some of my albums and searching the web for info when I spotted "Outside the Law" in my collection. It's sealed and has a sticker for $1.50 which says, above the price, "DOG EAR." After reading the Epitaph info I really would like to hear the album but, bummer, I just can't bring myself to open such an old album. Thanks again.

Comments about the web site: Hi Alex! From my hometown Aachen (Aken) is was always possible to receive radio- an TV-stations from The Netherlands. So in the early 70's, when I eas a young boy, I often listened to Hilversum 3, and nearly every week I watched the music-show Toppop on TV. It was much better than the shows here in Germany. So - just for examle - I knew George Baker Selection long before Paloma Blanca entered the German charts. I remember songs like "I'm on my way", "Marie Jeanne", "Sing a song of love" and so on. I alway liked the special instruments the band played, it was unusual for a pop group to play the accordion or the mandolin, and - on the record "Wild Bird" even the trumpet.

Comments about the web site: Hello Alex, I recently viewed your section on Frankie Miller and would like to put you right on a couple of things re: the discography. The albums "ROCKIN ROLLIN FRANKIE MILLER" and "HEY WHERE YA GOING" are not the same Frankie Miller who recorded all the other albums mentioned. The singer on the two albums mentioned is a country and western singer from the early sixties!! Hope this info helps you out. Thanks for the Frankie page anyway. Cheers.

Comments about the web site: Alex, I wonder if you can help me? I'm trying to find some information about a group I believe were Dutch in about 1970. They were called J.C.Heavy.The recorded on the Pink Elephant Label. I was a member of a UK band called Little Free Rock and we played with them at an Open Air Festival in Frankfurt. I would be grateful for any information you can let me have, regards, Peter Illingworth

Hopelijk kun jij me verder helpen. Met vriendelijke groet, Marike Kooistra

Comments about the web site: I have always been a great fan of the Euro-Brit bands from the 60's on and fortunate enough (am I that old) to have seen a lot of them `live'. We are all about the same age, give or take a few years anyway. Mainly because they were far superior to the vast majority of the bands in the U.S. & their blues influences and dedication to the musuc they made. It seems that they were in it for the music and what riches derived was secondary. Their music will live forever and I never pass up any oppurtunity to turn someone new on to them. This is my first time at your site but will be going back to it many times in the future to really scope it out. There's going to be alot of what I've forgotten to catch up on. The electric guitar was made to play the blues and these bands prove it!! Rory Gallagher, THE BEST!!! 5 years now!! Miss him & all the others who are in a different realty now. What a jam that's going on there!

Comments about the web site: Hallo Alex, I found your website some days ago when i was searching some informations of 70`s bands as affinity, frumpy or shocking blue. It`s very interesting to read your precisly informations. But my special interest is the Krautrock-scene in the beginning 70`s. Especially bands, that had been less popular succesful like Abacus from Hamm/Wesfalia or Manxomes Theory from Paderborn. I try to find LP`s on fleemarkets in our district, but those old LP`s are very rare to find, but I`m still going on. Go on, that`s what I want to wish you with your "Center of important music" I`m sure I shall return often to your sites in future.

Comments about the web site: I like your page very much, but I had a problem with searching for "Nederpop Encyclopidia, because I'm interested in things about Dutch Soul Music from the sixty's. It was a great time. And because my husband was playing in the band "The Soul Sound" at that time. I was always visiting the concerts of "The Swinging Soul Machine" because one of the bandmebers was viisiting our school and have never seen playing "The Soul Sound" in the same time.We met a few years later so I have never seen them playing on stage. Maybe Alex you cann help me in this way. Dear Regards, Magda Korthals - Baris

Comments about the web site: Great Site ! - I used to work for Stray in the mid/late '70's and seem to be working for them again after all these years. In March 2001 we are doing a UK tour with U.Heep and Nazareth so kind of full circle. We've done a couple of UK tour with Leslie West over the past 2 years and hope to get a new album out in March. I'm also working with Richie Scarlet (Ace Frehleys Comet / Sebastian Bach / Leslie West) and also hope to release a new album in the new year featuring Ace, Buck Dharma, Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway, Ty Tabor, Anton Fig, Leslie and god knows who else ! Keep up the good work - your Website covers just about everyone that I like. Great to see the late lamented Heavy Metal Kids on there . FYG Cosmo has just released an album with a band called The Flyovers.
