Dutch-singing hard rock group from Sittard. Formed in 1979, originally as Pharao. Following the name change to Vandale in 1980, the line-up featured: Bart van Klaveren (v, b, since 1982 only on vocals), Ed Bopp (g), Luc Gar'e (dr, in 1982 replaced by Leon Biessen), Peter Titihawala (g, b, p) and since 1982 Pat Rademaker (b).
The first single, "Vandale", was produced by Alfred Lagarde. Shortly thereafter, Leon was replaced by Eddie Rokx (to Zinatra, managed by Bart). The LP "Fatale Ideale" never reached the store shelves because the band's record company Inelco went bankrupt. The band existed until 1984 and was supported by the then-"hard rock guru" Lou Beerens.
